Trench Coat: A classic piece that I finally invested in and why you should too

Trench Coat | Dress | Sandals | Bag | Necklace | Earrings

It took me way to long to jump on to the trench coat band wagon. I’ve always loved their classic silhouette and iconic-ness in the fashion universe. And of course I covet a classic Burberry trench coat. But, realistically it might be a very long time until that is a realistic purchase. You feel me? I have found some very fun options though! And these don’t break the bank! Woop! I personally always love something that is a little bit different than the norm. Like most trench coats are a beige/tan color, which is fine, but, your girl doesn’t do fine or mess with tan. It’s just not a flattering color on me. That’s why I scooped up this trench coat when it popped up on Nordstrom Rack (it’s a year old now), the brand is BLDWN incase you want to search for it on Ebay or Poshmark (my personal favorite ways to track down items that got away). Because this has the white color, and plaid detailing, I knew the tan wouldn’t wash me out! And I love the pattern play with the color blocking in a neutral way. I love this thing because I feel polished immediately and it’s the thing I grab on those chilly but not freezing days. And here in Kansas you just never freaking know when we are going to have one of those mornings. So, I usually wear this thing in early spring, as our winter tends to mess with us until freaking May. And our fall starts in like mid September-ish. I was hesitant to join in on the trench coat game, as I didn’t really see the point. I’m guessing you might relate? And if you’re wondering what styles I love and picked for you, check out the ones below. I picked out styles with fun but wearable colors, patterns, and silhouettes. Oh and they don’t break the bank. Check them out and let me know which ones are your favorites!
