What I Wore: Go Blog Social Day Two

Target Ikat jumpsuit, Old Navy jacket, Nickel and Suede earrings (size large), Target sandals, Daniel Wellington watch, Kendra Scott cuff, David Yurman ring, Nashelle ring c/o, American Eagle sunnies

Getting dressed is always one of my favorite things to do. I start out by looking at the day ahead and grasp what kind of things I'll be doing - to know what kind of clothes I should wear. So for Go Blog Social, I knew I would be sitting most of the day and wanted to be comfortable but still look and feel stylish. I scanned my closet for prints and soft materials that I knew I would want to be in everyday. I had kind of forgotten about this jumpsuit and had filed it away in my summer file. But I put it on and knew it was perfect! But it is a spaghetti strap on the top an knew I would want to wear something over it. So I tried on like every blazer and jacket I owned and just wasn't feeling it. They were either too structured, too short, too dressy, until I grabbed my trusty cargo jacket. And tada! I felt great! Also - I scored the blush Nickel and Suede earrings after the first day of GBS at the Sip and Shop event, just love the color for spring and summer! Oh and then I threw on my favorite new sandals from Target! And felt put together and comfortable the whole day through! Isn't that the best!?

STYLE TIP: When you are shopping for a jumpsuit be sure the fit is actually comfortable. I have a larger bottom than my top and always dislike how tight things can be - ya feel me? So I recommend sizing up to make sure everything hangs nicely, and then tailor what needs to be more fitted - trust me. You won't wear it unless it fits right - every time. So take the time to find a good tailor. I have one that gets it right every time and because of it I like wearing those pieces the most. So, ask around and find one that's close to you and comes highly recommended.

Now who's ready to rock a jumpsuit?
